Default AP2 Transmission Died

Well I'm in the market for an AP2 transmission. Also posted in the want to buy forum.
My 2007 with approx 57,000 miles had 1st gear whine that got louder then bad rotational noise followed by horrific sounds during a trip to North Lake.
Almost got stranded in Tahoe but limped all the way home.
First thought is bearings and I was still able to make it into gears smoothly, but no idea what else may be effected.
Finding out very fast that no one rebuilds these.
Please let me know if you have or know of a low mileage AP2 transmission for sale.

Attached are the pics from when I got home and drained the MTF (flakes are magnetic).

I just want my daily driver back on the road. Pretty heartbroken right now.

Call/text 916-761-6756. This guy is located in Sacramento and he dissembles quite a few S2000 for parts. (sorry I forgot his name)

Good luck man.

That's Serge, I was about to suggest the same. I've picked up a motor, trans, and various suspension bits from him over the years.

If it's the Serge that I think you're talking about (Serge Berlina on FB), I'm sad to report he just passed away last week.

I was told by another member about this, really sorry to hear. He was a stand-up guy, always friendly and willing to help out.

Serge passed away, not to be confused with Sergey.
