I was parked at a friend's house and was only going to be there for a couple of minutes but ended up being a few hrs.

everyone just go buy some jb weld and apply it to the nut that holds the tips. If you ever need to remove them, use vise grips.

They do sell security bolts with the thread pitch from our 10mm nuts. I would replace those with security bolts or as others suggested weld them.

yep, that's what i did. i filled the bolts with something like this. i don't ever plan on taking off the tips anyways:

F**king hell, exhaust tips and center cap stolen...Sunnyvale area. I thought finding all these other threads about tips and caps being stolen would make me feel better. But it doesn't. Hate that there's not much I can do about it.

I will definitely weld/glue the replacements on, if/when I get them.
