May I suggest special torque screws / bolts.. 10 mill bolts or screw which uses torx head with a center filled. So the key would look like a torx bit but with a hollow center. What are the chances the theif carries a complete tool set with them.. And if he does accomplish taking your tips.. I'd say he deserve it, not because he stole it, but because he really went through all your effort in preventing theft. If he still managed. He mustve really need those tips for a life and theft situation... Fcuken low lives....

thanks for the idea. would it going too extreme if i filled in the center with jb weld?

If you do that u might as well weld it directly... I personally would use a hex bolt and fill the center with silicone.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll probably go with your route as it'll be easier than having it welded. So 10mm bolts is the proper size to use? Damn basterds took the bolt too...
