I am going to buy a 2000 S2K and need a mechanic to help me to do a pre-sale inspection before I purchase it. I found Joey but he is located at South San Francisco. The owner doesn't want to drive all the way up
The owner is located at Sunnyvale / Cupertino area.

Do you guys have any idea where should I go instead of Joey's place?

I had my inspection done at Capitol Honda. Give them a call and get a quote and compare their checkpoints with other service providers.

Do you think they did a good job for an inspection?

I found out there's some noise from the engine bay when I test drive the car.
The belt is kinda worn out and i dunno if that's the cause of the noise.

It's related to the speed but not the rpm.

Since the owner is selling pretty cheap that's why I wanna go for an inspection to see the car can be repaired at low cost

have the seller meet up with someone you trust or with a trustable name. If he's not willing to drive out a mere 50 miles to make a sale, then you should consider walking away.
