Yeah, I had a few offers but they are not offering as high of a salary as I want or are too far. Trying to stay in the SF or SJ area. Thanks though.

industrial technology and industrial engineer is a different thing from what i recall.
You can forward me your resume if you'd like and ill see wassup. My work is finishing a huge project so we might not have much but depends on experience.
More info on the degree please as i am an industrial engineer and i know that industrial tech isnt as detailed.

Not to be rude or anything but why not take the other offers and bounce once you find a better job? Yeah you may be selling yourself a little short but isn't a job better than no job?
One thing I found out about why new engineers kinda get low inital pay is because they leave once they find a better job. They don't expect you to stay long so why pay you more if you're gonna leave kinda deal. They stay long enough to get a feel of the field and maybe get to know certain folks... Then they leave because they now have experience.
This is just my opinion though.

Thats a last option to consider. I can always go back to my old company.....but I'd like to try to find a company I can stick with for a while or a good place to work at. Not in a desperate hurry to find a job, but I need to pay off my car soon.

Your expectations are alil high.
I think with the degree and expeirence you should be getting sub 50k or 50k around.
with an ENGINEERING degree it might be different.
I have your resume but if your looking for 55k i dont think i can help
