Anyone wanna try E85 tuning?
So guys, the cars almost done, just gotta put the transmission and clutch back in the car. Probably going to start tuning soon. SO, my question is if there is any general interest in anyone else wanting to run E85 in their turbo cars, we can have a tuning day, which will be exclusively to those tuning. Me being one of them. If not, and if I don't change my mind, you guys can come and watch me + Redzone tune the car on E85 on 1200cc injectors.
E85 burns like 114 octane gas. So more and more guys are beginning to use it. I would need to get the fuel, which can be bought in drums of 5-50, so if enough guys are willing to try it, or maybe watch me try. I'll let you guys know when the date is, and you can see it for yourselves!!!

I'm actually going to do the E85 with larger injectors once i use my 2mm headgasket and GT3076R so i'm down for sure.
Let me know when it goes down, i'd like to see the end results on a turbo S

How many stations in the bay area carry E85? I know there is a station right next to my work (Vic Hubbards) in Hayward that sells it, but i'm curious.

Bragging rights all the way!!!!
The thing with e85 is that it's cheap, so the cons outweigh the pros in my eyes as a high HP seeker.
But i wouldn't use it year round... maybe only during the summer

Technically speaking it isn't that cheap. You'll see about 15% less mileage with E85 so it's Federally mandated that it's sold 15% less than 87 octane. Or so I've been told.
