Default Anyone wanna learn how to take headlamps apart?

Anyone want me to take pictures of how to take the lights apart and put them back together ? I'll be doing 3 sets of AP2 lights and was wondering if it'd be worth the effort to do a DIY or just have pics for reference.

I'm down, where are you doing this? I've done it with my EM1 before and was a gooey process sticking it back together--haha.

'Any' headlights can easily be opened. Simply pre-heat oven till it reaches 340F then turn off oven, open oven door, put headlights in, close oven door, let sit for 4 minutes(oven should be turned off). open oven door, wear heat glove, take a flat head screw driver and stick/insert between edge of clear plastic front lens and rear housing. Once flat head goes inside the headlight. slowly and carefully pry the headlights apart, should peel off very easily like wet glue(make sure the silicone doesn't get on lens since it gets pretty sticky). Now you can do whatever you want with inside the headlights. To put it back, simply put headlights back into oven after pre-heat so the OEM silicone can stick back.(I suggest buying Permatex clear or black silicone) and add along the edges just to be 150% sure that water doesn't get into the edge since the OEM silicone may or may not perfectly adhere back adequately.

That's my long DIY version...lol don't feel like making a step-by-step DIY list since I've written this too many times. lol just randomly felt like typing.

Do a step-by-step headlamp clearing process w/ pics. It will be very helpful for other interested s2ki members in attempting to clear their own headlamps. Plus, you can be recognized among the s2ki board for your DIY contribution.
