I'll be down for a drive. Maybe next Sunday. I found an awesome route the other day. Route from the 101 to Point Reyes is beautiful and long. Two lane twisty road through green rolling hills, small towns and redwood forests. I'm willing to go again soon!

Ok! Lets meet on Sunday around 11am for the Point Reyes drive.
Right off the 101 freeway there is a large parking lot off Lucas Valley where we can meet up. Not sure what the address is as of yet but I will post the address later. We can also drive all the way to the north beach if you guys want and have lunch at Point Reyes Station.

arsI've done the Lucas Valley route more than 10 times. It's definitely beautiful. Another alternate way is to start on Highway 1 at Stinson Beach. This way you can spend more time on the 1. Also, don't just stop at Point Reyes. Keep going north to Bodega Bay. More beautiful sights and roads to see and drive.
The weather is getting nice, I'm up for a drive any weekend now. It's time for top-down backroad driving. Here are the 3 drives I have in mind right now:
1. Stinson Beach to Bodega. This, I will definitely do this summer. If other drivers are up for it, we can go all the way to Fort Bragg. Super long drive on Highway 1 though. I've heard that it's beautiful up there, but never been there. I'm sure the road is as beautiful there.
2. Hearst Castle. Never been there. Would love to go.
3. Big Sur. I missed last year. It looked like fun. Let's do it again. I'll be in for sure.
I'm also thinking about the Yosemite trip on May 9th weekend since there are few spots open now. I'll probably decide within the next week.

HWY1 is great either you go up North or down South. For Hearst Castle, overnight is better not as rush. We had also gone up North as far as Mendocino also overnight trip. Nice road, beautiful sights!!
We will definitely do another Big Sur run in the summer!
