how to tell if it is 328i or 335i:
the 328i coupe has one exhaust pipe coming out of the rear bumper, but 335i coupe has dual pipes exit out rear bumper.

the '08 M3 will have the quad pipe exhaust, V8 with 400+ hp.

sorry to say but S2K can not hang with these cars. they're just making them faster and faster.

0 - 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds on 335 which is faster then stock STI
6.2 second on 328 , you have a little chance to beat 328, dont forget automatic transmission no miss shift , you might miss yours , and our 0-60 is also 6.2

i heard a tuned Vishnu Procede 335i will do low to mid 4s to 60s and low to mid 12s 1/4th ml. traction limited of course and the octane. its fast.....

all of my 335i customers of mine either had the Procede or planning on installing it in the near future. Vishnu been moving 300+ unit a month since Jan. @ $1300 a pop. V8 M3 killa baby...it makes more tq. than the new `08 M3 v8

I've driven many of the new 335's and yes I raced my friends' bone stock 335....

Mag articles all state this car is equally on par with an e46 m3's speed and acceleration so if your s2k is stock, no chance at all...

Against my CTSC'd s2000, the 335 is about even and really depends on how you race and the driver skills. Off the line the s2k will take off first but the BMW will close the gap rather fast. Around 80+ the BMW starts to gain a little and never really looks back. We stopped the race around 110 since we were going west bound on 237 (tons of cops).

a modded 335 I'm sure is even faster though I have no experience...

What about a race with some turns? I think our S would be more competitive there.

Nice to see a picture of Shiv's 911 turbo. I remember when he got that thing. He does good work on the 335i, comes in to my work all the time to flash them and dyno tune.
shivs always at my shop also flashing and tuning cars.

i believe his 911 turbo got impounded recently though
