i just saw this car this morning on Craigslist - already marked as sold. it's salvage but comes with a black hard top (worth probably around 2k itself? ). Just wanted to know if anyone here picked it up.

thats edison's car, it was salvaged due to vandalism i believe with damage to the quarter panel (a 12" shallow crease-dent) it was berlina black with a OEM rio yellow hardtop for 9000$ over a year ago. he got it painted whitee and did the J's lip, pretty clean. parked in the richmond district, i saw it every day last week when i went for my morning jog

to send the new owner a slightly higher offer probably 500$ more or 1000$ more before that owner can register the car. or at least thats the way it would appear.

Nope - not interested in giving them an offer. I just picked up my s2k 2 weeks back. :-) I was thinking whoever bought it might want to part with the hardtop if they're looking to part it out.

^-- or that haha, the paint on the hardtop isn't that great. on the edges where the weather seals were, you could see some yellow haha. give him a call and see who he sold it to, he's a pretty nice guy.
