Default anyone with mugen replica hardtop? some question

hi you guys i'm getting some squeaks from the front side (i think its due to my old convertible top seal being old and need some grease.

but i have some rattling on the passenger side side latch area. i tried tightening them down but still no go.

when i go over a drive way sideways both side makes noises. when i go over bump or a small pot holes seems like just the passenger side bracket.

do you guys change out the hardware bolts? like use a rubber o ring or seals against the hardware?

any help would be appreciated.

ill probably look for some plastic washer for all the bolts and re-tighten all of them again.

any of you guys have the shitzu grease or something lol?

I had issues with the top also, what I did was change out the washers and bolts that came with the top. The washers were all bent inwards, so I replaced them with galvanized washers. Picked up shin-etsu grease from Honda and applied it to the rear seals, no more rattle. Only issues I have now are the OEM latches, they squeak from now to then. Nothing big. This worked for me, other people might have other solutions. Good luck!

I replaced the 3 hex bolts that mount the top to the frame via bracket. Kept the original two on the bottom.

On authentic or replica. I would cut a small piece of a vacuum line and put it in between the latch and the catcher. If you want. You can swing by my shop and i'll show you.

cut a vac line and glue it to the bracket so when the bracket hits the top mounting point it can provide cushion?

do you mean cut vac line and use it as lining on the edge of bracket?
