Default Anyone locally have 17's ce28n in w/43mm offset?

I'm thinking of swapping out my spoon sw388 rims in favor of some ce28nf (new style with spoke bend outwards) unfortunately they dont' sell the 17's here in US yet. So i want to see if anyone have regular ce28n in deeper offset than the standard 50-52mm front that i can give a quick try to see if they clear my spoon bbk or not? I have a 5mm spacer i can bring too. I'm located in fremont area.

Thanks.

Keep your Spoon wheels and brakes. Much more appealing to look at than CE28's. I still think CE's looks like the bronze Racing Hart CP08's.

The "ONLY" reason i'm looking into the 17's CEs is because is tire sizing. i need stiffer sidewalls, and R-compound tire size selections for the sizes i want.

The 45mm profile selection for 16's are not that great. Also the aggresive +35mm front wheel offset on the sw388 to clear the BBK makes it tough to have tires wider than 215's in front without rubbing and -3 degree camber adjustments.

My S is not a daily driver, and is used for track days more than street, so thats why i'm doing it for that reason. thanks. Again, too bad CE28NF in 17x7.5+43mm isn't released yet.

Spoon wheels and SO2's are just fine. Yes they are aggressive but the camber you are referring to is only if you drop the car significantly. Your talking to someone that had this setup up 3 years ago. I had Spoon wheels with OEM SO2's and had a -3.6 camber in the rear and that was only because my car was dropped 3 inches. So if you leave your car stock height or even lower it an inch you will be fine. No need to switch wheels.

i'm talking about the Front offset +35mm being too aggressive to allow tires other than 205 without rubbing. I'm also running spoon coilovers with a 1inch drop and as of right now, it rubs on the track on turn 5 in thunderhill coming down. So there is no way i can add 225's without rubbing. I'm already running -2.5 camber in front.

also i'm not talking about s02's i'm refering to the R-compounds such as RA-1, V700, etc etc.

I really doubt the Ce's will clear spoons w/o a spacer. Running a spacer, unless you go with something high quality really effects the handling in a bad way. Id recommend finding a rim that will clear w/o a spacer. I am running Racing Hart CPFtuneR's now clear stoptechs spoke wise no problem with over 1/4 inch to spare.
