Default Anyone know a good independednt shop?

Bent some valves, etc. I will probably need a new cylinder head. Anyone know of an independent shop that can do the installation? I figure i'll be saving myself a lot of money considering hte dealership quoted me around $8-9k for tear down, installation of a new head.

You can get a complete engine AND tranny from hmotorsonline for around $4,000. Then you would just need to pay someone to install it.

At this point, its looking like i need a new cylinder head maybe and the block should be fine. Just need advice on an independent/capable shop in doing either the repair or installatino of all new cylinder head.

i really dont know whats wrong with the car. therefore i cant give you a estimate. but i know i can save you money. compared to what you were qouted in the other thread.

i think dealership price for labor per hour is 120.00-150.00

we charge 80 an hour.

you can always get the parts yourself, or we can get it for you.

itS2Krazy: where is your shop located at and how much do you charge for a tear down?
