Default Anyone Know of a Good Bodyshop in the East Bay? -- Need Suzuka Blue Paint Repair

I have a couple of scratches on the front bumper I want to have repaired. I'd prefer to deal with a shop that has already successfully matched the Suzuka blue paint. Any suggestions?

I would be very interested in this as well.

I had an accident last month but my body shop was not able to match the paint perfectly -- after 3 tries.

Apparently, the paint code for suzuka blue 513M is not working correctly -- it is too purplish and he had to make it less so but was not entirely successful. He is using the PPG brand.

If anyone in the bay area has successfully matched suzuka blue, I sincerely beg you to tell me your secret !!!

I heard of one bodyshop in san jose that normally does porsche paint jobs if I remember correctly. They did my friend's M3 spoiler for him. Althought it was not matched perfect the first time, they re-did it for free and the job was very nice.

I'm planning to do my spoiler there and I'll probably go over to talk to them tomorrow or early next week. It might make it a better deal if you guys want to do it since they only have to match once. So OverDrive wants to do a front bumper, and what about cksuen? PM me if you guys wanna join.

i dont know about reassurances. i guess what a bodyshop can do is to repaint for free. my friend's car is metallic grey much like the gun metal and i know that the shop did not have the pre-mixed ones but they blend it to match instead. as far as i can tell, the paint matches pretty nice. huh it's at least nicer than my stock bumper and hood.

i'm definitely doing my spoiler and i what i can do if u don't want to commit is to let u know the result later. but that to me might not mean anything because they will have to blend new paint for you again.

Thanks Bluedd.

I think I will wait for a while till the factory paint comes out.

Best of luck with the spoiler.
