New or used? Also, what model (RS, base, MR) and color, model year, options, etc., did you have in mind?

Oops in that case, nm... I don't think a trade will work for him because his car isn't paid off. As far as I know, most lenders won't allow a straight trade. They'll want it to be worked out as two separate sales. I don't think he's looking for a S2000, either.

I'm not looking in to trade WITH him. I just don't want to be paying TOO much more on top of what I can sell my car for.
