what specifically are you worried about? if the body is still the same, then the motor is the only real issue. just get a compression & leakdown test. new owners coulda run up the mileage, but if the motor is healthy, does it really matter how much mileage is on there? sounded like most everything was changed on that car anyway.

I'm worried about how well the car was put back to stock.. plus, I'm worried as to why the seller wants to get rid of the car so bad.. bad enough to blatantly lie about being repainted knowing that I will find out.

With that said, the shop that fixed the car's smog and powersteering issues said he did a compression test and #s were all 220s across the board.

I dont know why he wouldnt inform you the car was repainted as we had nothing to do with the color change. According to Brian the work was done by a reputable shop in the bay. The car did not have power steering and A/C(didnt know about the A/C until the car was delivered)

Were you able to put the A/C back during your ownership?

Yes A/C was reinstalled but not recharged. The condenser along with some lines were removed for the FMIC setup on the S/C

I don't have a big presence here, but I did buy my current car from the seller mentioned and my friend bought his NSX from the seller a year or so ago. From our experience, the seller is a good guy and very honest. He was totally straight forward with me on everything about this NFR '00. They weren't some punk kids and would have taken really good care of it. You can see my red car in the background of some of the photos.

I saw the white car when I picked up mine -- if it's your "thing", the style and widebody etc. It's a super clean car, nearly perfect. I could see it has its own garage spot. AP2 lights, very nice interior, mint soft top if I recall. The only thing I didn't care for was the wheels.
