Default Anyone know about freight trucking?
I never shipped anything by ship before. The stupid company, instead of sending it to a port here near San Francisco they landed in Long Beach, CA. So now i have to find a trucking company to bring it to SF. Anyone here familiar with stuff like this? Oh it's a bunch of boxes. About 22 separate boxes weighing about 600lbs total (probably 28lbs each box).

go to the port of oakland website. They have a huge list of freight trucking comapnies. I have a container coming in today as a matter of fact.

is it a 20' or 40' COntainer? If its a 20' and weighs 38,000lbs to about 40,000 lbs(Legal highway limit) then you are going to need a Tri axle which will cost more.
