Anyone here have rear speakers?

I just did mine tonight and all I can say is WOW! I bought a pair of Pioneer 4-way speakers from Best Buy tonight hoping to replace the fronts but thought hey why not stick em in the rear. Lucid recommends putting 4" speakers back there since there's not much room to work with but I said hey let's put some 6.5" back there and try to make it work. Well it worked and man what a difference. I give it a

I'd like to hear those next meet...To see if what everyone says about rear speakers is true
Mind if I have a listen sometime? I've been thinking about this mod myself...It would be cool to do a back-to-back w/my only fronts and then your front/rear combo before I drop any money into it...

Rear speakers help to balance out the sound in the car. Yuo really need some extra mid-bass IMO. I know it is virtually impossible to souns stage in a car, but this is the closest you are going to get. I used some 2 way 51/4" speakers. I didn't even know they made 4 way. Sounds like a party in there! Nice job.

hey, I actually go the Lucid package...because I dont' know anything about hooking up car stereo stuff, so wanted to make it as no-brainer as possible. It sounds much much better, but by most car stereo standards its probably only "ok". But like everyone says, you can't expect much because of the way the car is set up to begin with. Lucid's packages have size limits, but if you can somehow make bigger speakers fit back there, that would be way better. I only have 4" polks right now.
be glad to show you guys at our next meet...
