You can try to specialize in nanotech for an undergrad degree, but it probably won't mean very much. The field is too new and to get a good understaning of it, you really need a good background in several science fields. However, getting a CS degree would give you all of the basics you need to understand what's going on in the software industry without needing to get a Ph.D. In addition, if the law thing doesn't work out, you can always be a programmer. BTW, the LSAT sucks...

I'm set as History for my undergrad, otherwise I won't make transfers if I changed. So I would basically end up going back to school after Law school to get a B.S. or Masters for a science field if IP is the way I go.

I hate programming so much hahaha.

Yea, my brother is practicing law in LA right now so he keeps telling me how horrible the LSAT and Bar exams are.
