i was wondering if anyone have it installed in their s2k. how does it sound? also will i need to get the lucid adapter for it?

 

Rick has the focal K2P. Sat in his car and demo the quality of his system and those speakers are crisp. They're excellent speakers and hit HARD.

 

hmm rick, if you read this, can you tell me does it fit like stock or will i need to do some trimming? will i need to buy a lucid speaker adapter?

 

You can always make spacers out of wood if cutting the stock basket isn't good enough.

 

i was thinking about getting the lucid 6.5 speaker adapter, but i dont know if it will work. anyone have any idea?

This is Rick - you just named both sets of speakers I have - I got the MB Quart Q-series in my m3 and the Focal K2P in my s2000.

I can tell you the Focals walk all over the Q-series in terms of mid-bass and sound. If I can redo my m3, I will definitely go with the Focals....

Just be sure to dynamat the doors to get a solid mounting area. I do not know anything about Lucid so can't tell you there but I would just make my own adaptesr out of MDF since it's more solid anyways.
