Anyone have LED bulbs in their map lights?
So I've had LED map lights for almost two months now. Last night when driving I noticed that in the middle position, when you open your doors lights come on, the bulbs are lit very dim. Doors were fully closed driving. They never done this before. Is this a sign the bulbs are going bad? I mean they still shine bright when on, but should I be concerned about them being on when not supposed to?

i'm not 100% sure what your asking... do you mean when your doors are closed, your map lights are lit very dim or are you saying when you open the door, the light is very dim.
i have a problem with mines where if i have my cluster on the brightest setting, the maps turn on automatically. but i think that is because something is wired wrong.

The door switches on the s2000 suck and they don't ground very well so hence the dim lights.
If your doors are closed and the lights are still on when they should be off then you have a bad door switch.

You must have a bad door switch. Open the door and push the door switch in with your finger and jiggle it so see it you can get them to go out. Try the passengers door if the drivers door switch doesn't get the lights to go out.
If that doesn't work then jiggle the switch at the lamps to see if you can get them to go out.

This only happens when the car is running. Doors are closed, map light switch in middle position. LED bulbs stay lit but very dim. I know this isn't normal. LED bulbs causing a problem?

Do you have an aftermarket alarm? Your getting a weak ground somewhere so try what I mentioned above and see if the lights will at least flicker or change in brightness.
