Twice now the Palo Alto PD has decided they needed extra revenue and ticketed me for no front plate (although I'm going to fight the second one since the citation was from non-display (CVC5200), not improper display (CVC 5201) - it was in my front window)

Anyone have a front plate mounting bracket they're willing to part with? I seem to have misplaced mine over the two+ years I've not used it.

I'm curious, did they stop you while you were driving just to give you the ticket? Or did you just come back to your parked car to find the ticket? TIA.

The dealerships can get the assembly for you. I forget how much HofOakland said it would cost, but it wasn't bad.
