In case you weren't aware, SCCA "stock" class isn't stock. You can upgrade shocks, front sway bar and exhaust yet still remain in the stock category. Slicks will shave one or two seconds as well.

If you noticed, I was #15 in a black S2000. It was my first time autocrossing the car and I managed 54.2 seconds on street tires.

Even if you don't plan to enter you can always ask drivers on grid if you can ride with them. Most will say yes on their first and possibly second run. Try it; it's a blast.

He had S-02's on. He was smoking.
And don't laugh... but I autocrossed my pickup truck for 4 years in college!!!

I ran with a few people... except for the M3 owners... they were all dicks!

Hey, one event I drove straight from Yosemite, unpacked the sleeping bags and ran in the afternoon group.
