Anyone ever got caught with a test pipe?
I was wondering if anyone has ever been fined for not having a cat. I know some have been pulled over for having a too loud exhaust but the officer did not check for the test pipe. The price of the fine is crazy.
I was thinking about maybe getting a HKS Carbon Ti, anyone got one for me to hear?

cops are too lame to check for a test pipe. don't worry to much about it. Even if they send you to a smog ref just put your cat back in before you go. The only dead giveaway is a black bumper but even cops can't figure that one out.
I've had test pipes in all my other vehicles and has never been sweated for one. I've gotten many exhaust tickets though.

I dont know about you but crap like that makes it harder for everyone else to enjoy driving with the top down.
Why would you want to drive around without your cat?

I had a Spoon testpipe and Spoon exhaust, never got caught but got to loud for daily driving.
