Listen here son speaken to you is 8 point VET...

Whats gunna happen.

1. you go early in the moring to court and get in line ot see the judge and ask for level 2 trafiic school or level 1...if that fails

then you just pay the fine on your ticket and keep it on you record for three years.....

mainly beacuse you were going 20-25 above speed limit.

but if your gunna take a morning off why not try to cry to the judge...wear suit and speak proper to the judge you might get lucky.

remember get their around 6am

i got one of those before. the courtesy notice didn't even have any dollar amount on it.

i got caught for 120 mph (camaro's ugh..this is when they first came out. i had no idea there were camaro chp's at that time. i just thought it was some random camaro) on a 65 mph on 580 W right around the border of castro valley and san leandro. got hand cuffed, but talked my way out of going to jail. mandatory court appearance. judge was not very pleased . he was shocked along with the rest of the court room when he read aloud the speed and said i was a menace. obviously, not eligible for traffic school. 2 pts on my record. i'm not even going to say how much my ticket was. i was greatly thankful though that he agreed not to have a felony or misdemeanor charge on me since the chp officer didn't take me in originally.

'Technically' I currently have 9 pts.
7 official pts and 2 are still pending. The good thing though is that i'll have 4 pts drop off before the end of the year

i got a big ticket on I5 about a year ago, was accused of going >100mph.. no traffic school, court appearance and potential 2points + suspension

cut a long story short, i got a traffic lawyer, ended up with a reduced charge of speeding over 70mph and 1 point

it could have been a lot worse, so my advice is to bite the bullet and get a lawyer ASAP

Back in "99" I got a ticket for going 125 on Hwy.280.

I know.. not a smart thing too do

When he pulled me over the first thing he asked me was "Does your friend have a DL?" I said YES! and he took out a pair of scissors and cut my DL in half!!!!!

Later on... Went to court... Lowered my fine down to $550.00 with 2 points on my record for the next three years, no traffic school, suspended my DL for 1 month... had to re-take 1 side of the DL test at DMV and a road test with an DMV official...

It was a PAIN!!! and I certainly learned my lesson!!!

My insurance jumped from 165.00 to 420.00 a month!!!! INSANE!!!!
So I took the bus LOL for the next 3yrs

I still even got all the paper work and original ticket in my file cabinet....

But one good thing... Saved a ton of mileage on my new car!
When I sold my car in 2003 it only had 5000+ miles on it!!!
