If you're in the East Bay, drive Palomares Road between 580 and Niles Canyon. A Google maps search for Palomares Road, Castro Valley CA should bring it up.

I live in Castro Valley, drive Palomares, but almost prefer Redwood... if anyone would like to hit some up during the week after 5pm (pre dusk), I'm always game.. starting to know the routes better and better. pm me

Never driven Redwood before, I'll have to check that out one of these days. I assume it's the one that goes from Castro Valley Blvd to Highway 13?

There's quite a few, Redwood is my favorite thus far 'cause there's no homes on the road.. Palomares has huge properties overlooking the road, always gives me an uneasy feeling.. I'm new to the bay area so always willing to go exploring! holler!
