i know you dont want an end/end mounted wing but i have my APR GTC 500 for sale (in socal but i can have it up by 2nd week of sept) if you're interested? reason why im saying this is because its 1800mm and alot cheaper buying used than a new voltex, maybe that'll make you consider wings that mount on the sides of the trunk...

edit: shameless link to my socal FS thread... https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/968...e-garage-sale/

Thanks for the offer but my plans are already set around using this wing & in addition, 1800mm is just way too much for my application. As for considering wings that mount on the sides of the trunk; I already had a J's Type 1 wing that I just sold last week in lieu of picking up a Voltex Type 7.

GLWS!

Thanks for everyone's help in chiming in. I just ended up ordering this new from Evasive today. Later down the road if anyone needs measurements, just hit me up.

Gonna be awhile. Putting together a new build is very costly; especially with the procedures that I like to generally follow.

I agree about the cost thing... Honestly I'm debating weather I should keep my S or sell and go for new journeys

There is an important rule many people forget to follow. If you are spending more time "building" your car than driving it, your car is winning. Don't let your car win..

All that said... that Type VII is damn sexy. Ever since seeing the Amuse wing with center mount and ASM center mount and trunk I have to agree I like the center mount look just a tiny bit better. I would imagine the side mounts better support the wing though without a dedicated support in the trunk though?

Wow are you serious JP? That thing is hideous except maybe for a track car - just asking to get pulled over...

Yes.

He's building a track car.
This.

Car has been going a part out for all non-essential parts & will be undergoing a track build. It will still be street legal and the wing will be removable. But you know what, I like the look of the Type 7 center mount...a little more than the typical end-to-end trunk mount that Voltex/J's uses. Additionally, the mounts are very stable & come with trunk reinforcement for the underside much like the J's/CR trunk support.

Anyhow...hopefully someone can respond by Monday. If none, I'll just buy this from Evasive Motorsports because they rock!

Cool for a track car - can't wait to see it in person, bet I will like it much more...hehe
