Is Mt. Tam still heavily patrolled by park rangers? Has the Sierra finally F'd the place for mtn. bikers? I used to ride alot, but haven't in a Loooong time. If you get a chance, Forest of the Nisene Marks in Aptos and the Soquel Demonstration Forest are awesome rides. Wilder Ranch is also an incredible place to ride. Lots of single track and some pretty good fire roads as well. After your ride at Wilder, you can ride to the cliffs, eat lunch, have a brew and watch the Ocean.

What time sunday? Can we go early in the morning?

Cool, 9am will work. I'm coming from Fremont and I don't even know where Mr. Tam is located at.
Is this the website of Mt.Tam? http://www.parks.ca.gov/default.asp?page_id=471
How do I get to Railroad trail?

Kster, Yep, that's the one. I'm in Walnut Creek, so if you want, we could meet up at IKEA in Emeryville and then go together... say about 8:30? Would that work for you?
