When discussing diameters of the bypass pipe (38mm, 44mm, 1", 1.5", etc) are y'all referring to the inner diameter or outer diameter?

I think it's inner diameter. At least, that's what my welding guy went with when he did mine.

Golden Gate muffler in Daly City. They know how to do the uk mod and I believe I only paid $45 for it.

I've used Todd at Exhaust Works in Belmont. He's awesome to deal with, runs a one-man show and has been in business for decades.

you're not going to get show quality welds there, but $45 is dirt cheap and the least i've EVER heard anyone paying for the UK mod. been meaning to have mine done for a while but haven't got around to it.

it's really not a complicated job. any competent shop or welder should be able to do it. definitely more than $45 job though.

How has the exhaust mod held up since then? I may go here since I believe the other recommended spot is closed down. Seems like a good price and they close an hour later than most shops! I was quoted 360$ from a shop in Berkeley. :3

Yah $45 is too cheap... Haha must have been a buddy hook up

I like the sound of my boys car with the U.K. Mod and he paid about $150.00 for it nicely done

It may have been more than $45 actually now that I think about it. I know it was under $100 by a decent margin though (nowhere near $150), no receipt to go back and look at. The weld on my passenger side developed a hairline crack, I took it back and paid only $20 to fix it. Other than that it's held up fine..
