It bridges the inlet and outlet piping in a way that will actually be effective, they didn't bend the extra piping and weld it where they did for no reason...
Like I said, see the forest through the trees...
What does seeing the forest through he trees mean? Hehe

When you are too close to a situation you need to step back and get a little perspective. When you do you will notice there was a whole forest you couldn't see before because you were too close, and focusing on the trees. Simply that you have focused on the many details and have failed to see the overall view, impression or key point.

I think the question was more referring to what are you trying to say specifically about the UK exhaust mod? That the muffler bypass mod really doesn't do much because the whole exhaust system itself is the main function of flow, not a tiny little bypass? Either way, it seems like it's a mod for sound, not for power. Dyno results seem to show that. Sounds great though!

It's like me removing my OEM air intake cover, so I can get a more aggressive intake sound, even if it means absorbing heat-soak and losing hp. Things people do and sacrifice, just to have a feeling and emotion of more hp.

That King Motorsports version of the bypass looks pretty cool. Better flow and better looking, especially if it was coated the same color all around. I'd like to see if they can do that with a 1.5", not the 1" pictured.

Updating my review on the UK mod....

After swapping my stock catalytic converter with Casey's hi flow Asura, the sound improves dramatically! From a stop to full throttle, the effect is amplified throughout the powerband. It's more visceral, more raw of an exhaust note, as the lessened resistance of the HFC makes it sound much better. Dare I say it almost makes it feel like my car has an aftermarket exhaust.
