Sounds good. Mine 's recently been back firing alittle coming off throttle to upshift. A single slight "pa".

We seem to do this at least 1 Sunday a month. At the vid around 8:33, turn the volume up! The flyby of my GPW with it's UK Exhaust mod and K&N FIPK really sounds awesome Thanks again Vue for a great vid

King Motorsports actually did a "correct" version of this mod, actually diverting the flow in a way that makes sense:

1" piping, properly bent to divert flow.

"UK S2000 exhaust mod. This mods diverts a portion of the exhaust flow past the first part of the twin-loop muffler for a more pleasing exhaust note without the typical droning of common aftermarket exhausts for the S2000. We use a 1" stainless U bend and cut to fit."

They dyno'd it as well:

"Morning everyone! Lot's of requests for dyno results after the UK S2000 exhaust mod- so here ya go. The customer AP2 S2000 is equipped with a header and test pipe and tuned using a Hondata K-Pro. Blue line is with the stock AP2 exhaust, the red line is the UK mod AP2 exhaust. A slight increase in power with the UK mod, but most importantly the exhaust note has improved dramatically. Nice and mellow without any harshness building to a pleasing wail at 9000rpm- just what the customer wanted..."

I would say the power difference is negligible, the their version of the mod is very different than what other people have done. If you are going to do the mod, do the King Motorsports exhaust mod, not the UK exhaust mod.

It bridges the inlet piping with the outlet piping. That really isn't any different from what was done above, besides piping diameter. In fact, using a larger pipe will gain (negligibly) more power. You gotta see the forest through the trees here...

The results are as expected.

It bridges the inlet and outlet piping in a way that will actually be effective, they didn't bend the extra piping and weld it where they did for no reason...
