I certainly don't think its outside the realm of possibility that this affects power output.
Certainly a rust hole in your exhaust can make it louder AND have a negative effect on power output.

easy, fellas. it's monday AM ^ all, but.... lol
seriously, it's pointless to speculate whether or not this mod affects hp. i'm in the camp that believes it could have an adverse affect, if any, but we won't know for sure until someone puts their ride on the rollers. until then, it's anyone's guess.
