Default any suggestions

anyone have any tips on getting rid of small chips on the windshield without having to replace the whole thing.

I think there are some windshield repair shops that do just what you're asking. But you'll have to keep in mind that repairing those chips doesn't mean that they will no longer be visible.

my friend had some work done with this and it seems like they fill in the chips with some sort of solution that makes it invisible from the outside, but it's still noticeable on the inside. not sure if it's an end-all solution to your problem.

because for the majority of insurance policies it's completely free to fill chips.
