A co-worker has an Audi A4 and is looking for an independent mechanic to service it in the South Bay (San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Milpitas area). Can anyone recommend some reputable Audi mechanics? Thanks.

I know of one but it's up in belmont. When I had my a4, didn't find any good shops in the south bay.

East County European Autoworks in Brentwood (the owner is Audi Master Guild Tech)

most of those mentioned are performance shops for VW Audi.

i know a lot of Audi techs, let me know what you need maybe i can help you. i have a VAG diagnostic tool too.

I've been to DSR and Streetwerkes. I think I like Dick at DSR better.

Thanks for the leads. Of the names you mentioned, my co-worker was only able to find Streetwerke in Palo Alto on the Internet. Do you have a phone number or address for DSR or OZsport? Thanks.

Any other referrals to independent Audi mechanics are still welcomed.

what exactly is the problem of the car, that way i can help figure out where to bring it.

like i said Streetwerke and DSR are motly performane shops. If the problem is about maintenance, etc. and if he's willing to drive to Brentwood, East County European is the place to go.

Thanks, everyone. My co-worker is just looking for general maintenance mechanics for his Audi for now. He is not into "performance" modding his car (as far as I know). I will pass along the info.
