This is acutally how I got my S! I got 11K back this year put that down along another 5k. et viola! a new toy... I think I overpaid though. 16K for a 01' with 80k on the clock. What do you guys think?

whats ur yearly income to achieve an 11k tax return?..or do u have like 15 kids or something??!?!?!

I will most likely have to pay tax instead of a refund. That is just the way I planned. If you got your finance straight you should not get a refund. Getting a tax refund just means that you overpayed for tax throughout the year and lost interest or investment earning on that amount of money. If you get a large refund check this year, next year you should up your dependent claim on your W9 form.

no dude, I paid over ~70k in taxes and I only got 11K back. This was my first year making this much money so I had no idea what I would get back but I was hoping for at least 20k. Single no kids, no deductions. I know, I need to buy a house.
