Ugh, I got a no front plate ticked right when I moved back to Cali which triggered having to change my damn Texas plates to Cali plates. Dooood, I love my TX plates.

Great meeting everyone. Thanks for meeting up with me for the drive over -Khac and Chang. Hopefully y' all will roll into North Bay more often!

Guess I gotta do something about moving my front license plate. I've got those plugs around somewhere. Cops aren't too bad about it?
LOL, I remember seeing this post and thinking how I've gotten away with no front plates for so long. Of course, within a few days after seeing this, I get a ticket for no front plate.

...WHILE MY CAR WAS PARKED!
I'm awaiting my 5th no front plate tickets in SF this year. *knocks on wood* lol *shrugs*

So...if they have the wrong plate number, DPT will send out the fine to the wrong address?? So I won't get any fine at all??
Btw, it is $10 if I fix it so it isn't that much compared to downtown SF $25 if corrected and signed by an officer.

If you really want to duck out of having a front license plate, just use 3M Command Adhesive, stick license plate on the front, get it signed off, then take it off. No big deal, but that's kinda lame how they will ticket a parked car out of all things. My friend got ticketed for expired registration the same way too.

I have screws in my car and my front plate under my seat. I'll just screw it in real quick and have an officer take a look. Actually, I have a bunch of police officer friends' that can write it off, even their co-workers inside the station don't even need to come out to take a look, they just sign it off. I'll just screw it in just in case. Takes only 10 seconds anyway. I always screw it in then take it off minutes right after. Now, I'm going to start investing in one of those plate retractable devices. lol

I think your ticket will not get sent to your house since they go the plate wrong. You should wait to see if you get something in the mail before doing anything. You might have got away with this one.
