Lisa, I can meet at your place this Friday when we caravan to Sweet Heart Cafe for the s2ki meet around 9pm. I'm not sure what I'll be doing beforehand and BBQ sounds like a lot of work to do. Not sure how many people are down to do that. Hope it's not just you and me if no one shows up. hahahaha It will be a whole lot of food. BBQ sounds better on the weekends. imo

Isn't SF "Central Bay?" What about us Marin County folks? And yes, we are starting to crawl out of our caves too.

Technically, yes. Marin, Sonoma, and Napa are actually the true north bay, at least base on the maps and grids. Its about time we showed up!

since we're "Central", maybe everyone should meet here

nice try

But it's a fact...SF is central b/t N + S Bay... We're in b/t both sides and the ideal place to meet for friends, food, movies, bbq etc...might be a bit trafficky but SF is the best place to be!!
Yeah...could barely make it to San Mateo to meet Lisa up this Friday because I have stuff to do. Won't be a good idea to have a BBQ this Friday. Thank-you for the offer Lisa though. We really really appreciate your awesome, nice, heart warming, welcome for food at your place. Who else does that?? lol
BTW, damn....this thread started about a week ago and it's at 2552 views. GODDAAAAAAMN!!!

So Im not the only board member who lives North of the GGB!.......Im really glad to see some 'North Bay' action going on...Now: What about some AUTOCROSS up here? I can never make any of the A/X meets because they are always way too far away from me (Sausalito, Marin Co.)
One more thing: Stinson Beach Alert: During the summer months Stinson is usually pretty crowded on the weekends with tourists and locals and you will usually be stuck behind a caravan of slow vans and terrified out of towners as you drive along Panoramic Highway en route to Stinson Beach.....Best to wait till Sept. - Oct. when things quiet down somewhat. As an altervative I would suggest a run to
Point Reyes...the road out is a blast to drive, but even so you may still have to deal with tourists during the summer months......And I always use my Escort 8500x when Im in west Marin.
