Default Any M3 or Cayman owners here?

Just wondering for those that sold their S's for M3s or Caymans are happy with their new cars. An '05 M3 with competition package is looking real nice! The new Caymans are looking really interesting too. I test drove one a few months back and it was amazing. Owners are even dropping in the 911 engine in it.

Oh and..some pictures to make this thread more interesting..

I wouldn't mind owning a Cayman.

there is a huge problem....i live about 2 miles from work so i dont get to drive it ever....

but seriously, i got it with fairly low miles, 37k, fully loaded, next day took it into stevens creek since i still have the warrenty, for a "light that i didnt understand"....guy told me,

1-there was no light on
2- gave me the entire service history of the car
and
3- my car has never had any major or even minor problems, whoever the prev owner was treated it very well...he also told me to drive it hard.

Pics of the Cayman didn't make me go wow. But in person the Cayman is sexy. I'd rather have that than a 911.

I heard Porsche was surprised the cayman chassis performs so well. I think the rear engine 911 will go away in the next few years and they'll use the cayman one instead. Their top of the line Carrera GT is midengine..so they know the best platform is midengine.

I'm telling ya...Cayman now..and then if you want more power, you can either turbo it or drop in the 911 engine and you'll give 911s a run for their money (except for 911TTs).
