Any interest in the San Jose Grand Prix?
I was at the San Jose downtown last weekend and noticed all the preparations for the San Jose Grand Prix (to be held July 29/30). But I hardly hear or read any news about it at all, even the San Jose Mercury News doesn't say much about it. So is anyone interested in this race? I don't even know who is competing. But I know I would not want to be downtown around the dates of the race. But it looks like the race will be held at night though.

im really interested but it's so damn expensive. i can't even park in the garage that i have access to without paying! for a regular pass + paddock it's around $60 right?

damn, it will be sweet to see open wheel racing on the streets of San Jose. Alas I will be outta here again by then...
Went to see F1 in China and also sponsored a driver in the China Formula Renault Series. WAY cool, way way cool.
Ok, so it not F1 here BUT i will still be a blast. They are racing what...Champ Cars? Open wheel is the bomb. Just too bad so many folks like watching cars go around ovals....
