Any idea how to get rid of the pinging?

The sound from the TCT that I hear is when starting the car cold. It sounds like a 1-2sec rattle (like pouring a lot of gravel in a metal can).
Kinda like hitting a cymbal with those drum sticks that are like a tassel - the ones jazz players use; at least that is my interpretation.
I need Joey to replace mine!!!
