Any good bodyshops?
Hi guys someone reversed in to me at a stop light. I was in the left lane to turn. Person ahead of me decided not to turn, reverse and then go right. Person didn't see me they said car is too low. Now I have light damage on the front bumper. Do you guys have any recommended shops around Hayward or near hayward that does good paint work? I'd appreciate it. Still need to get a quote as well. They are willing to cash me out if amount is low or go via their insurance if they can't pay it. They offered for me to go to a body shop that they recommend but I am not too comfortable with that.

That sucks. Same thing happened to me but it was a construction dump truck and my pickup. Make sure you have good records of them admitting guilt because an insurance company can turn it around on you if they want to be shady... and probably win because their rear end vs your front end. I got strung along for almost a year before we threatened with a lawyer.

I'm sad. My pristine s2000 needs surgery. I got hit today. Anyone have suggestions in the south bay?
Looks like my front wheel got nicked. Fender crumbpled and front nose ripped. Someone cut me off today while on my way home.
I have 17000 miles only. Need a shop that is good with odd color and pearlescent paint.
Insurance is paying for this...
How do I go after diminished value? I think this will show up on my carfax.

this is all I have right now.
The one day I drove my car to work (which I haven't in 3 months). I get hit. Worse luck ever.
I'm new to California. I came from Toronto where insurance in Canada is No-fault. Meaning you deal with your own insurance company. If you don't like their recommended body shop, you choose your own, and "your" body shop deals with the insurance company directly. I think here they cut you a cheque based on the adjuster?
I'm insurance with Geico. I have the policy maxed out but with $1000 deductibles for both collision and comprehensive. I called Geico to tell them I was in an accident. They gave me the option of me going to state farm (the other driver's insurance company) or having Geico do the claim and they go after State Farm after. Was this a good idea? I don't know.
I'm to see the Geico adjuster this coming Friday. In Canada OEM parts are the only acceptable repair work for cars that are less than 10 years old. Any advice?
