Post Any Golfers want to enter a tournie?

Last year, I went to a fundraising event for a non profit org. My co worker's niece is a special needs child who has RETT Syndrome.

Her family started a non profit org (Samantha Corpus Foundation) in her name to help raise money for research and to hopefully find a cure.

This year the foundation is hosting their 3rd annual golfing tournament in Blackhawk, CA. I volunteered at the tournament last year and it was an awesome/fun event. It's an all day event on Tuesday May 20 from 9am-8pm and there will be dinner and silent auction. I know that's like 3 months from now, but figured I'd give you guys the chance to clear your calendar or to reserve this day for this event. Also, Blackhawk is an awesome golf course and you can't just breeze into the place and go golfing. You can't even get into the community unless you have a reason to be there or live there. It's a pretty exclusive country club. If you do go, please adhere to the dresscode (no jeans, tanks, rip shorts, open toed shoes, heels, gym clothes. Men must wear collard shirts at all time). Here's the schedule for the day.

I'm no pro either. It's more of friendly game of golf than it is competitive. It's only a tournie since they have prizes and stuff in the end.

Hope to see you there!

can we split the $350 between 4 or something? i used to golf as well but probably wouldn't be too interested in coughing up that sum of money for something i'm only half decent at

Jeff: It's $350 per player.. sorry. It's more for socializing and having a good time.

Last year, there was food and booze stationed at each hole. $350 includes the dinner as well. It's basically for the whole day.

Even thought I worked at a driving range for 3 years I still suck and can barely hit straight. I'll pass on this as I can use that money for my new camera or mod on my car.
