Default Any Bike Tuners here?

Happy New Year everyone!

A few days before Christmas, I spoiled myself with an 08 Kawi 250R. Picked it up in Scotts Valley and have been riding locally whenever weather permits (I'll admit, I've been cheating on the S!). Here are a few pics.

The 08's have been known to come a bit "anemic" from the dealers and I've been itching to rejet the bike. Does anyone have experience in rejetting bikes? I have the kit on order and I'm pretty handy with the tools but I'd like to have someone with experience help me out.

Thats a great bike

I was thinking of picking up one of those as a second bike.

Currently I commute on a Ducati S4R almost everyday =)

Very nice. I'm so itching to pick one up. I'm still waiting for the 09 Kawasaki ER-6N. May I ask how much did you paid for OTD?

Also, were you aware of the 09' 250 come with direct fuel injection?

Thanks! After I'm done learning on this bike, my goal is a Ducati Monster. Love the S4R. My coworker just picked up the classic italian tri-color.

Really? The US Kawasaki website said the 09's are still running carbs...

I know outside the US, the 09's run FI.

Thanks for the tip. I'm registered on BARF too but I wanted to check in with the s2k community first.

WTF!!! You're right. I apologize for my mistake. I was reading through the magazine and they clearly stated that for 09' the 250 will have FI which will explain the $500 increase on the msrp. So I guess the price hike is now due to high demand rather than them actually doing some upgrade Still a great bike, but it was a steal at $3.5k msrp.
