I would like to know if there is a big comic book store (or any comic book store) in the Bay Area. I need to look for something for a friend (Ghost rider from Marvel comics).

There's "Comics and Da Kind" on Noriega in SF, I used to goto when I was a lil' kid. There's another one on Noriega by the Beach, but I don't know if the old lady is still alive or what.

 

Lee's Comics in Mtn View (there might be another location somewhere else in the Bay Area).

 

livermore has a good store, fantasy cards and comics.

 

I've found you can find most anything on Ebay for 1/10th what it's worth... My roomate recently completed his entire collection of Savage Sword of Conan, and after selling all his duplicates from buying large lots, he ended up spending about 150 bucks (for 270+ issues).
