i know different insurance companies have their own top marketing products, it could be vul, whole, term, UL... etc.. if ur wondering which insurance is the best insurance, there is no best insurance. Although there is a product that suit you the best. 3 important concepts in all insurance is that 1) all insurance is term insurance, 2) cost of insurance always goes up, 3) there's no free lunch in insurance industry. The best thing is to sit down with a professional and discuss what your objectives are and see which product would work out the best for you. Also, lot of people have this misperception towards life insurance as something that you dont really get your money worth, as far as cash value accumulation part, which is not true. You can actually build solid savings and protected assets through life insurance. We're living in a information age and if you lack on gaining new informations, you'll be left behind.
