Another break in. Quick question.
Hey guys,
It's happened again. This morning, I woke up to find my car broken into, and the seats removed. For what it's worth, it was a very clean job, and nothing was trashed too badly...go figure. At any rate, I've heard a lot of praise for Menlo Honda's service department from these forums. Do you recommend I take my car there or should I use a private autobody shop again?
Thanks.

for this, i'd go with a dealership. should something go wrong with a dealership, it's much easier to have it taken care of rather than a private body shop. plus the Honda dealers will order all geniune parts for sure.

i dont see the body shops ordering aftermarket seat parts (i may be wrong) so I dont see the harm in using a body shop...especially if you already know them or something. They may even be willing to discount the deductible?
the dealer (ie Menlo) would be guaranteed to be all OEM parts if there is more damage than the seats.
sorry to hear the news. good luck with repairs/replacements.

All of the parts were OEM, except for the Rick's shift boot, which is also gone. I think I might stick with Menlo...I remember someone on these forums being able to pay the difference and get a 2002/glass top installed at Menlo after someone slashed his top and stole the seats.
