Default Another Basketball Thread

Sorry to start another basketball thread, but the old ones seemed a bit too outdated.

I'm moving back to the Bay Area this week, and wanted to see if anyone had any spots open on any teams or open-gym? Looking to play some friendly but competitive basketball.

I heard the weather's been pretty bad, but maybe we set something up to get together and play as well. We had a good group coming out weekly a few years ago--hopefully we can jump start something like that again.

Preferably SF/peninsula/southbay -- but I know a lot of you guys play in the East bay. Post it up!

Moving back for good?

I'm down if you can get something setup. Prefer indoors, but it seems almost impossible to find an indoor gym. I'm down with playing outdoors whe it gets warmer...

I usually play at the UC Berkeley gym on Fridays. They have decent competition out there. If you guys are interested it costs $12 for a day pass. I usually play around 2 or 3. When the weather gets warmer there is a decent out door area in Union City that has about 8 full courts right next to Logan High. It gets pretty busy there during summer time though.

In SF, there are people playing friendly full-court pickup games at Lowell on weekends. I know guys who play on saturday and sunday afternoons. I normally play on Sunday mornings (7am starting!).

We play at Fairoaks in Sunnyvale when the weather is warm and Stanford has some great indoor gyms that have fun pickup games on Saturday mornings.

A few of us play Monday / Sat. mornings at a Korean church but unfortunately it's by invitation only so can't bring anyone....
