Actually that's it. No more non-car related posts from me ever on this site, this site would be much more useful if more people followed this rule..
I thought this was debate club. Someone needs to let new members know. Time to cancel my membership and join toast masters.
What the f@#k is toast masters? (Random S2000 info/video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49meGUQDoeU)

I use Dreamhost.com for my domains and hosting, and never have any major issues. You will have downtime with almost any web host at some point or another but GoDaddy's service is abysmal, not to mention the exploitation of women, elephant killing, and other such cockery.
Until yesterday we've not had an outage in 7 years.

It wasn't a job by Anonymous. It was done by one, single, Brazilian. If it had been done by the collective:

1) It wouldn't be back up right now.
2) Your information would have been breached for leveraging purposes.

It's a shame so many peoples businesses were affected by one DDoS'er. Sounds like an inferior product/service is being offered.

The entire internet's DNS system works in the exact same way, its an extremely fragile system tbh. Doesn't take much more than a 100 computer botnet to exploit a zero day proof of concept to any dns server and take it down.

DNS is fragile, this much is true. Still figure there'd be more mitigation, but...

Regardless, it's always a shame when one persons shenanigans end up costing another innocent person(s).

I think the point has been made. Anonymous and groups who hack business sites to negatively impact others are lame as are the people that support them.

Real dollars were lost by millions of businesses today. Same thing goes when groups attack other infrastructure in our economy.
