Does anyone know if the Amuse Hi-Tech ECU is legal in Cali? If it is, would it be worth the moeny?

No it's not legal....technically no EMS/V-AFC/E-Manage is legal in California.

Spend your $ elsewhere. You will need to run more than 91 octane to see any real benefits which will be minimal. Probably more useful to get something that can be tuned specifically for your car.

What else have you done to it?

I havent done anything yet, Im just collecting data. Thats it for now.

Just an FYI, their ECU is tuned for the following parts:

Mugen CAI
Amuse header
Amuse R1000/R1 Titan

So unless you have all three item, don't bother.
Also, their ECU is based on stock ECU, so it still has knock sensor enabled, which means you are safe if you run 91, but you won't see full benefit unles you run 93-94.
