Default ambient lighting

Anyone know a place that would do ambient lighting? Our cars only have the maplight and i'm tired of people missing the door handle to get out. So i would like to get ambient lighting in the door handle section, i've seen it done, but they're out of state.

I know that Merrick (muggzy) fab'd up some sort of LED lighting system for the footwell area. Shoot him a PM and maybe you can adapt it for your application.

haha, not that i would mind trying myself, but i don't really trust myself with a $20k machine(that's how much i paid for it at least). wonder if i bought the kit if a mechanic would install it for me...

the only electrical work i did to my car was change my bulbs to LEDs, lol

How long did it take for him to install the lights for you orange_s2k?

Man, he recently broke his arm.....looks like my lights will have to wait awhile...

First off... Merrick broke his arm? Hopefully not on the bike or biffing on Half Dome???

FYI... IIRC Merrick's lights were only for after you opened the door.
